Career Skills Developement
We provide an on-the-job paid training program for adults, 18 and over, with disabilities. Program participants learn how to disassemble, test, and reassemble computer systems, amongst other tasks to develop career readiness skills, increase occupational knowledge, and to establish a work history.

Our Goal
Our goal is to continue to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors with disabilities while having a positive impact on our environment.
We can only continue to meet this goal because of the ongoing support we receive from the State, County, Cities, Community and surrounding Businesses.

New2U Computers is a division of Disability Resources, Inc.
Disability Resources, Inc. is a Washoe County Based non-profit organization committed to helping children and adults with disabilities achieve their highest potential through the development of individualized goals and supports. Individuals supported in our programs have been diagnosed with a severe, chronic disability that is attributed to mental or physical impairments. Since 1993, Disability Resources, Inc. has grown into the largest intermittent provider in the area and currently supports approximately 150 individuals with disabilities to live independently and to achieve their goals and more! Through our Job Development Training program, our employees, and volunteers amongst other community resources, we are able to assist the community with the following:
Job Development Training and Career Skills development for Individuals with disabilities
Life Skills Training and Assistive Care for Individuals with disabilities
Accepts Donations to help support the organization - monetary, or newer/used electronics
Schedule large electronics waste donation pickups
Environmentally friendly electronic waste recycling
Free Computer program for qualifying individuals with disabilities
